Roger - the bus shuttle man

Roger
He tells me he went to Australia to see his father that he hadn’t seen for 30 years. I ask why indeed it had been so long? He wanted to see him before he died.
Wasted time.
He is married twice to Korean ladies and has fathered two children. When I ask about his children as in where do they live etc etc… He replies with my daughter used my credit card to steal $4000 dollars worth of stuff and I haven’t seen her since. She was 15.
Shunning for some money also seems like wasted time.
He says, ‘I just put the police on her,’ as indeed he, ‘wanted her locked up!’
This I cannot believe when I think of blood relations and how strong they should be but were the opposite in this case.
One strike and your out.
Out of the family forever.
He seems to non-stop whinge about things that have been brought upon him and so somehow he knows his incessant whingeing could get on people nerves.
As he is half Canadian and half Australian he tells me how strongly he wants to get out of all English speaking countries as people whinge too much!
For now he must drive a shuttle bus at all hours of the morning in the busy city of London, as he needs to save money for his Korean wife and eventually move his life to her.
It seems to me that most people don’t want to be in London but they are. And they don’t seem to make any moves to change their lifestyle. They only have time to work and follow their footsteps to the tube. They seem to forget why they are there in the first place and the fact that they ultimately have a choice about their own lives’.
Roger will keep doing what he is doing and keep telling stories to souls like me on the way to the airport. I’m going on a trip, but yet Roger is going nowhere.
