Australian travellers..

I see Australians come and go in this town. Some are a little lost in the search of something bigger then themselves. Traveling from town to town or country to country they all have something in common. We are all from a million miles away. I think we as a country have more of a need to leave and explore and adventure more then any other country.
But also once we return although a feeling of restlessness can remain, there is always a sense of great pride as we realise just how wonderful our country is. Full of beautiful beaches, and broad landscapes, and free open space and most importantly the freedom to be who you want to be.
Danny the typical aussie surfy that likes to get lost in diving. Although this one Australian guy has not returned for a long time, he still loves to chat in australian chatter.
Tanya from Melbourne, on a travelling path that will no doubt lead her home eventually after some ending relationships. Her long long dredlocks keep her unique identity alive.
Matt was the travelling gypsie, on a real round the world trip stopping everywhere and anywhere in between. He took his guitar and befriended all locals and travellers around.
Then there is Ant and Elise, taking an extended time off from working life to enjoy all the wonders of the world in new ways.
All these people they amaze me with their stories, their troubles and amazing outlooks on the world. Anyone that decides to look apon other peoples cultures and give a little of empathy and understanding to someone other than yourself deserves all that comes to them.
Love to all those aussies out their, on one journey or another, and don't stop until you find what it is that you are searching for.
I never did stop believing.
